Something Someone Else Said

So now we can look forward to the latest Republican talking point: John McCain and Palin lost the election because God was "in the bag" for Barack Obama from the beginning.

    Don't be an idiot. The Republicans will never admit that God's on the side of the Democrats.

    In all seriousness, I've had this conversation before: God doesn't have a vested interest in the success of the United States of America. He definitely cares about his people here, but nowhere in the bible is the USA (or a version of it) destined to be blessed.
