To be honest, though, I thought it WAS covered since we don't pay much at all for it. If this clip told me anything, it reaffirmed that our medical system is all screwed up if birth control can be so cheap but painkillers can cost a fortune. Seems to me that if birth control were covered by insurance, it might turn out just like repealing the federal gas tax... just another reason to raise prices and profits.<BR/><BR/>As for McCain personally, I think both of your assessments are off. He probably just didn't want to commit to an answer one way or the other without checking his voting record, thinking about his own opinion (it's not something i'd ever considered) and finding out what the party line is.
