My buddy paused the Cowboy game last Monday night to make sure I watched this sketch. The thing I really enjoyed - that I'd not really put any thought towards before now - was the idea that Sarah Palin could very well cherry-pick a VICE PRESIDENCY. Clinton went through all that hard work of campaigning and stuff, just like Obama. Then this chick has to do absolutely nothing except be a woman and a governor, now she's [potentially] the Vice President! That is hilarious.
You'll probably respond and say "blah blah unqualified blah not funny blah blah time of need blah I'm voting Obama", but the hilarious part for me is more in the frustration that Hill Country is probably actually feeling.
I am voting Obama because we need him as our president but I also agree with you: knowing what kind of person Clinton is, I crack up thinking about her steaming over this candadicy. Every charge she has had to combat about how she just rode Bill's coat tails, she was a novalty candidate because she's a woman, etc. and now all of those critiques are literally the truth for Palin. Yeah, I'm laughing.
