Sarah Palin, Photoshopped without her coiffure, makeup and trademark glasses. You can check out several others and roll over them with your mouse cursor to compare the before and after shots here. This is what Todd Palin wakes up to every morning. Suddenly she's not quite so intriguing, is she?

Reminds me of Dianne Wiest, only not so pleasant.
Does that make Todd the head vampire, magpie? "You'd better get yourself a garlic T-shirt, buddy..."
Yeah I came across these photos too, via Sullivan's Blog. They raised some questions about the "narrative" that the Mighty Miss Palin is able to spew across the airwaves. Would she be able to send her message as effectively in the "plain jane avatar"? Would those receiving her message, especially the adult males still react with "starbursts" to her vitriol? Or am I just being sexist for following this line of questioning?
Submitted for your thoughts.
I'd only hang with female vampires, JBW. Jami Gertz would have done just fine.
Palin will age like a trainwreck in slow motion.
A lot of women still look good past early middle age, in a certain sort of way. She will not be one of them.
I've commented elsewhere already that - when that happens and photos are put side by side - the coming narrative of the Palin mob will then be:
" oh...poor Sarah, look how she suffers for her commitment to her country, those nasty Dems did this to her...".
barf, vomit, spew.
I've never thought she was intriguing.
Magpie: "A lot of women still look good past early middle age," Well, thank you dahlin'. ; )
I'm preparing the ground ahead of my early autumn harvest, tnlib ;)
Obviously Palin's looks have contributed to her success throughout her life (something she learned well as a beauty contestant, no doubt) but the same can be said for many attractive people in different professions, especially in the United States.
I don't know how well or badly she'll age (I still think she's pretty hot) but she'll certainly do so and I expect that she'll be taken less and less seriously as a viable political candidate as her looks give way and she's forced to get by on her wits and knowledge, such as they are.
And I certainly don't consider anyone who points this out to be sexist in any way, although she and her supporters most likely would try to frame it in that light. Ever the victim, she.
I sure wish it only took the swipe of a "mouse" to fix my "face" and "hair"! Wow, the time I'd save! LOL!
I ain't no Errol Flynn JBW. Maybe you can be picky with your charm and vintage chardonay. But dude, the rest of are content if she's a good sport.
If I had as much charm as I do good Chardonnay T101 I'd have a hard time digging my way out from under the huge pile of women I'd have amassed to post on this site, my friend.
