Hurricane Ike is apparently heading directly for Galveston and will then hit Houston around 8 am central time. Just wanted to wish my family and friends well during the impending squall.[Update: Happy to report that all are well out Tejas way. Takes more than a measly Cat. 2 to rattle my peeps.]
