This story and video are from the early seventies (as evidenced by the rocking haircuts you see on the guys) but I'd never heard anything about it until now, so here it is; amazing doesn't quite cover it:

I'm not sure what was more daring: standing with open arms as a wild lion approached, or knowingly being filmed with those haircuts.

Oh my gosh, I loved this video. I was crying! It was so sweet that the lion was so excited to see them. I thought it was going to get really ugly with the Whitney Houston song blaring in the background.
