Icaro Doria is a 25 year old Brazilian artist working for the magazine Grande Reportagem in Portugal. His Meet The World project was conceived to impart new meanings to the colors of various country's flags using real data taken from the websites of Amnesty International and the UNO. The eight flags portray very current topics like the war in Iraq, violence against women in Africa, the social inequality in Brazil, the drug trafficking in Columbia, etc. You can view the entire set here.
