Why Superman Will Always Suck

I wouldn't say that I'm a man of steel hater or anything but a lot of these sentiments really do ring true. Something for the Fanboys.

JBW said...: Superman is a good plot device for other comic heroes; Batman uses him to his advantage all the time. But yes, he doesn't have much depth as a character.

Jeremy said...: My biggest problem with the Superman fable has to be his outfit. I mean if he is so "Super" why does he have to prove it to everyone with those flashy tights? Wouldn't you think a little humility would go a long way. I would love it if he flew around saving the world in a nice pair of dungarees. Possibly a nice boot-cut would be less austintatious. That must be why I like Wolverine so much.

Honestly my disdain for Clark comes from my childhood and is not rational, but that's a story for another blog. (like DR. Laura ) lol; April 17, 2008 at 4:10 AM
