Check out this news story about Senator Clinton's latest "misstatement" regarding a trip to Bosnia as First Lady. Where I come from we call a misstatement this big a flat out lie:
Isn't it interesting how no politician ever misremembers anything in a way that hurts them? She also said this in an Iowa stump speech:
"We used to say in the White House that if a place is too dangerous, too small or too poor, send the First Lady."Sinbad, who has absolutely no memory of any kind of danger during the trip, sums things up nicely:
"What kind of president would say, 'Hey, man, I can't go 'cause I might get shot so I'm going to send my wife...oh, and take a guitar player and a comedian with you.'"

As a liberal you need to be sticking up for your fellow liberals. I would also tend to think that your liberal belief would be that hearing a gun shot at all would be as good as being aimed at.

You forget, my uptight, tight-ass, conservative brother, that I fired many high-powered weapons recently and I liked it. Liberal may explain my demeanor but my political philosophy's are Libertarian-Socialistic, emphasis on the Libertarian.
Besides, you use the term liberal as if it were an epithet while you're the Commie-peacenik, bleeding heart that wants to give Christmas presents to all those lazy welfare moms and crack dealers who live in our poor neighborhoods (I'm actually not sure if all poor people are on welfare and dealing crack but that's what I've been told by many conservatives and I'm sure they wouldn't say that if it weren't true).
As for Hildog, a lie is a lie is a lie. Just because someone is a Liberal doesn't automatically make them my friend; honest Liberals are my favorite kind.
