How Not To Win An Election

All politicians find it necessary to pander to certain segments of their constituency, whether it's eating waffles in a town diner or going bowling with the common folks or having a beer at the local Kiwanis club. But those who are politically savvy usually know when it's a good idea to turn down an invitation to speak at certain functions; not so with Indiana Republican Tony Zirkle. Running for a congressional seat in northwest Indiana, Tony thought that it would be a good idea to accept an invitation to speak at a white supremacist commemoration of Hitler's birthday.
