Is this that new world currency that Michelle Bachmann is babbling about?
I knew she was crazy DLB, but I didn't know she was "Empire" crazy.
Why "the first" Galactic Empire? Did they know it was going to be knocked over by a farmboy and his mates? Maybe like neocons they are already plotting the second coming of tyranny and a newer and bigger destruction of human rights.
I think I saw Bachmann in one of the scenes in Jabba's palace.
Me again and rather off-topic, so delete if you like, but have you ever read The Amtrak Wars by Patrick Tilley? It's a Sci Fi series written in the 80s. My eye fell upon my collection of them and I think they'd be right up your alley. Interesting political commentary about militarism, elites and authoritarian culture, if one wanted to read them that way too..
The Emperor says "first galactic empire" in the flicks VZ; I assume that he means that it's merely the first time the galaxy has ever been organized in that way.
