The Daily Show's Jason Jones kicks the metaphorical, 20th century cane out from under The Old Grey Lady:

Could the last, best vestige of old-school print journalism look any more pathetic and irrelevant? And I love the term "aged news"; very, very apt. It usually takes a jester to speak truth to power, and it most certainly is never flattering nor pretty. I think the term "scathing" sums it up best.
