I'm not saying that George W. Bush doesn't care about black people but...
But the exclusive Dallas community the Bush family will soon join has a troubled history of its own.Now I don't consider this to be on the same par with Mitt Romney not being able to square his endorsement and membership in the Mormon church as an adult with their discrimination against black people but come on, Texas: you know this shit is all going to come out on the Net eventually; what is it about the rich and powerful that makes them think they don't have to perform any due diligence when it comes to the choices they make? Oh yeah, they're rich and powerful (and most Americans couldn't give two shits anyway); never mind.
Until 2000, the neighborhood association's covenant said only white people were allowed to live there, though an exception was made for servants.
Enacted in 1956, part of the original document reads: "Said property shall be used and occupied by white persons except those shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of different race or nationality in the employ of a tenant."

Well why do "they" get exclusive rights to the entire area south of I-30 and other scattered (Hamilton Park) communities? If "they" get theirs, "we" should get "ours"!
I'm sure they would grant you your own slave quarters, amigo.
