I love that there are people like this guy doing incredibly stupid things like this in front of cameras:
A New Zealander making a world-first truck backflip attempt was part of the main attraction at a Las Vegas New Year's Eve event.Looking at the video, it seems like he drank enough Red Bull before the jump:Rhys Millen executed the backflip of his 1,300kg off-road truck perfectly – until he rolled upon landing on the Las Vegas Strip.
The 36-year-old rally driver broke his back a year ago attempting to perform the stunt, but walked away last night unscathed.
"Last year we attempted what was before then thought impossible. . . My body can be broken but my mind cannot," Millen said before the event...
The stunt was the considered equivalent to jumping on to a 10 storey apartment building.
Just couldn't stick the landing. Oh well, I guess the world of competitive truck backflipping will have to wait yet another year for their Tiger Woods to achieve his own personal greatness.

Well there you go, there was no rebound dampening. They really should have considered that.
You'd think it was something they would have noticed when dude broke his damn back last year but there you go.
