OK, so we're going with the Sci-Fi theme today. If you watch one video on this site please make it this one; it's beautiful in a way that only a tech-geek/nerd would appreciate:
A strange man builds a world using holographic tools for the woman he loves.This so reminds me of the Star Trek: TNG episode "The Survivors", but in a much more technological rather than omnipotent way. I'm not one to get caught up in romantic story lines but I really liked this one:
This award winning short was created by filmmaker Bruce Branit, widely known as the co-creator of '405'. World Builder was shot in a single day followed by about 2 years of post production. Branit is the owner of Branit VFX based in Kansas City.

I enjoyed this, even though I'm not a tech-geek and except for a love of sci fi not a nerd.(....we all spend a lot of time on denial or self-definition during blogging don't we?)
I was wondering why she was dressed like that but I guess I could have worked it out if I had put my mind to it.
